PANJIM: Shantadurga Crickters Betim booked their place in the final of Betim United T-20 trophy cricket tournament, with a 7 wickets victory over Nageshi Youth in the first semi-finals match played at SAG ground, Campal, on Thursday.
Shantadurga Betim will now clash against the winners of between Sharada Sports Club and Shantadurga Wagheshwar. The finals are slated for May 17.
Nageshi after winning the toss opted to bat first and scored 101 all out in18.4 overs. Shantadurga, chasing the target of 102 for a win, made it in 15.4 overs losing only three wickets and won the match by seven wickets.
Robin D’ Souza of Shantadurga was adjudged the man of the match. Goa Ranji player Rajshekhar Harikant gave away the man of the match award.
