PANJIM: Sinquerim Sports Club edged past Chapora Yuwak Sang 2-1 in the finals of Rosary Cyup football tournament organised by Dunes Sports Club at panchayat ground, Mandrem, Sunday. They were leading 2-0 at the break.
Sinquerim shot into the lead in the 23rd minute through Vinayak Rane and five minutes later Sahil Parwar doubled the lead.

Chapora hit back and were awarded a penalty kick in the 36th minute which was converted by Pratik Dhargalkar.

Maresto Fernandes of Sinquerim was given the red card in the 50th minute due to reckless tackle.
