Clube Sao Minguel Taleigao trounced Nerul Sports Club 3-0 to move into quarter-finals of All-Goa inter- village Mahabank Platinum Jubilee Trophy soccer tournament sponsored by Bank of Maharashtra and organised by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh at Calangute Association ground, Calangute on Tuesday.
Taleigao took the lead in the 20th minute through Vardhan Haldankar.
Changing over, Taleigao consolidated the lead through Caetano Pinho in the 10th minute. In the dying minutes Nerul conceded another goal as the keeper failed to make a neat clearance off Vardhan Haldankar.
