MAJORDA: St Anthony SC, Assolda defeated Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna 2-0 to move into the final of the 16th Fr Basilio Andrade memorial football tournament organized by Associacao Academica de Majorda-Utorda-Calata at Musson ground, Majorda, on Tuesday.
St Anthony SC scored in each half. First in the 15th minute, when Joseph Fernandes’ powerful grounder went straight into nets off an assist by Cristo.
Post Resumption, St Anthony SC netted second through Cary Vaz in the 56th minute off a cross by Seby Fernandes.
