MAPUSA: St Anthony’s High School, Duler, beat Government High School, Keri, via the tiebreaker on Thursday to book their tickets to Delhi for the Girls U-17 Junior Nehru hockey tournament.
The teams were locked 2-2 at fulltime before the Duler team clinched the title 5-4 in the shootout.

Sonali Gawas and Amita scored for the Keri school in regulation time. Varsha and Amisha did likewise for the Duler team.
Rasika, Varsha and Jiya were successful with their shootout attempts for St Anthony’s while only Amita and Sonali scored for Government High School.
Government HS, Morlem, beat Our Lady of Lourdes HS, Utorda, 9-0. Sindiya scored three goals,Tanvi and Aparna scored two each. Siddhi and Gayatri completed the tally.
In the semifinals on Wednesday, the Kerim school beat Our Lady of Lourdes HS, Utorda, 12-0. Mayusha and Saloni scored four goals each. Gautami added another three with Amita chipping in with one. St Anthony’s beat Government HS, Morlem, 1-0, thanks to Jiya’s goal.
