BENAULIM: St Anthony’s Sports Club, Assolda downed Cuncolim Union 2-0 to enter in the semis of the 30th Super Soccer inter village football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando Colva, at St John de Baptista ground, Benaulim on Friday.
Elton Vaz opened the scoring for St Anthony’s SC in the 16th minute. Later, Victorino Fernandes doubled the lead in the 46th minute.
Daulat Desai and Bharat Gaonkar missed easy scoring chances for Cuncolim Union.
