PANJIM: The Next Gen League 2.0 organised by The King’s Sports Academy with Venue Partner continued with action-packed futsal matches in the U-6, U-8 and U-10 categories, showcasing the skills and determination of young footballers at the The King’s School ground, Sao Jose de Areal, recently.
In the U-8 5-a-side (Group A) saw Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, defeat Our Lady of Carmel High School, Curtorim. Leyden Fernandes from Perpetual Succour Convent High School, earned the player-of-the-match honour for a stellar performance.
Our Lady of Succour High School, Verna, claimed victory over The King’s School, São José de Areal. Melchior D’Sa from Our Lady of Succour High School shone brightly as the player-of-the-match.
In the U-6 3-a-side (Group B) featured Our Lady of Carmel High School, Curtorim, taking on Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim. Our Lady of Carmel High School emerged as the winner, with Zylen Castanha once again proving his mettle as player-of-the-match.
In the U-10 5-a-side (Group D) St Xavier’s High School, Velim, secured win over The King’s School, São José de Areal. Vyanna Dungat from The King’s School earned the player-of-the match for her impressive performance.
In the U-8 mixed boys & girls 5-a-side (Group A): Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim beat Our Lady of Carmel High School, Curtorim. Player-of-the-match: Leyden Fernandes (Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim).
