VILLA-MAREX CHANDOR: USA downed Areal 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the 16th All Goa open Seamen football tournament organised by Villa Marex Boys, Chandor, at Villa Marex ground, Chandor, on Wednesday.
In the 37 minute,USA scored through Cleto’s placement shot.
Six minutes later, Areal equalised through Clifton.
In the 46th minute USA netted through Jason while in the 48th minute Micky made it 3-1 for USA.
USA will now meet the winner of Costa Cruises and Mendes in the quarter-finals on September 5.
