VASCO: Heavy traffic congestion was witnessed at Cortalim to Agassaim junction since afternoon, 2 pm till 8 pm, due to some minor vehicular mishaps and two vehicles breakdown near Zuari Bridge, on Monday.

The commuters once again felt the brunt of traffic congestion due to vehicles breakdown and four minor accidents at this stretch. The vehicular line was so lengthy that till 8 pm in the evening, the Traffic Police managed to bring the situation under control.
Speaking to the media persons, Vasco Traffic Cell officials informed that there were four minor vehicular accidents at the Zuari Bridge stretch and two vehicles breakdown. Therefore, clearing these issues at the site, it resulted in pilling up of traffic. The vehicular movement was very slow, but the traffic police deputed at the site tried to facilitate the movement. After 8 pm, the traffic movement was smooth.
