Three robbers attacked a life insurance executive and decamped with his laptop and some official papers at Santa Cruz on Friday night.
According to Old Goa Police, the incident took place at about 10 pm as Amar Dessai, a native of Surat-Gujarat but residing at Shah Arcade in Santa Cruz, had alighted from his vehicle and was to enter in to his flat.
Dessai said he got down from his vehicle to go into his flat when three persons crept behind him and struck him on the head, before fleeing with his containing a laptop and company documents.
Though Dessai tried to stop the three accused, they fled away in a motorcycle.
Old Goa police have registered the offence under Section 394 IPC and is investigating the case.
