The remaining four accused in the Moti Dongor attack case are still in hiding, stated Margao police on Saturday.
Margao PI Santosh Desai informed that the accused might have fled the State and headed towards Mumbai as raids on possible hideouts in the State proved futile.
He said the mobile phones of the main accused Bashir Sheikh is found switched off, adding that information suggests that he might have fled to Mumbai.
The Margao police have already arrested four persons in the case for attempt to murder Maqbool and others at Moti Dongor earlier this week. The four persons are still behind the bars, even as sources said they are expected to move for regular bail in the South Goa Sessions court on Monday.
