CM confident of mining resumption this year
PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, while expressing confidence that mining operations in Goa would resume during the current calendar year, said that the extraction of iron ore would be done mindful of environmental concerns. Government also aims at reducing the windfall profits earned by the mine owners.
