Hundreds of vehicles enter the parking lot of Ravindra Bhavan at Margao every day. However, there is a lot of confusion for vehicles coming from the Margao Circle to Ravindra Bhavan.
The road opening is not in alignment with the entrance gate of the Bhavan. Hence, vehicles can be seen driven on the wrong side of the parallel road for almost hundred meters in order to enter the parking lot of the Bhavan.
This creates confusion for vehicles moving on the parallel road. As a matter of fact it is mandatory for vehicles coming from the Margao Circle to travel another 500 meters or so to come onto the parallel road in order to enter the parking lot of the Bhavan.
But many drivers prefer to take the short-cut and enter the parallel road from the wrong side. Something needs to be done at this spot by way of either aligning the road-opening with the entrance gate of the Ravindra Bhavan or close the road-opening altogether.
