Members undecided on study tour location!

Will they prefer the Pink city of India or settle for the Island nation of Sri Lanka?
With just seven months to go for the current term to end in February, South Goa Zilla Members on Tuesday deliberated on a study tour, with some members preferring Jaipur for their week-long sojourn.
However, ZP member Joe Dias felt the members can opt for Sri Lanka to study the garbage issue, saying the island nation has successfully resolve the burning garbage issue. The idea fascinated the zilla member, who asked Dias to study the proposal, without realising for a moment that all the elected members need not necessarily travel outside to study the garbage issue.
While another member said that Haryana could be the better option in view of the fast pace of development taking place in the State, another member felt the Himachal Pradesh should also be weighed an option.
The Zilla members also demanded to know from the Chair the status of the proposal for laptops for the elected members on the lines of the scheme worked out for the former MLAs.
