PONDA: Akhil Bhartiya OBC Mahasabha (ABOM), Goa State Chief Shashikant Ghadi in a meeting held at Collem demanded with government to provide reservation in seats to contest for Assembly election.
He said in a memorandum would be submitted to the State government.

He was speaking at ABOM meeting held at Collem, on Sunday. Collem Panchayat Sarpanch Manish Lambore, ABOM Secretary Ulhas Sawant, Prakash Gadi, Vithoba Gadi, Sanjay Naik, Naresh Shigaonkar, Panch Snehalatha Naik, Swapnesh Chair and Ratikanth Khandeparkar were present.
He also expressed concern over some people trying to get benefit of schemes for OBC by illegally changing their surnames in Goa. He said despite reservation in education and jobs the OBC community is still facing injustice.
