In the football tournament, eight teams participated. In the final, Galaxy, Chimbel defeated New Stars, Betim 2-1. In the volleyball final, Scorpion Boys outsmarted Warrior Boys 2-1. Panjim Constituency MLA Siddharth Kuncalienkar was the chief guest while Kalidas Ghatwal of Nehru Yuva Kendra was the guest of honour.
Dr Rufino Monteiro, president of Yuva and chairman of GFDC presided. Raghuvir Mahale, vice-president of Yuva proposed the vote of thanks while Gayatri Bhingi, secretary, Yuva compered.
