MARGAO: The Margao Town Police on Friday night arrested six persons for forming an unlawful assembly and for assaulting 35-year-old Samir Naik and damaging his car near Rosary College at Navelim. The incident took place on Friday afternoon.
The arrested include Allwin Fernandes (23), Trevor Ferrao (39) and Minguel Fernandes (59) all residents of Telaulim, Anthony Alex Fernandes (35) a resident of Dongrim, Manuel Vaz (26) and Altaf Makandar (32) both from Nagmodem.
They have been booked under Sections 143, 341, 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
