Health secretary Sudhir Mahajan said Malaria is a dreadful disease, claiming lives of millions all over the world.
The Government, he said, is making every effort to get rid of the menace. There is significant decrease in number of malaria cases in the State, due to timely precautions taken by the Directorate of Health Services. We need to work together to end malaria from Goa, he remarked. Providing an overall review of situation of malaria in Goa, Dr Chandrakant Parab called for people’s support for eliminating malaria in the State.
Dr Sanjiv Dalvi welcomed.
Dr Kalpana Mahatme compered, while Dr Jose D’Sa the proposed the vote of thanks.
