MANDOPA: Betalbatim SC got the better of Cuncolim Union 5-4 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Mandopa Cup, organised by Mandopa SC, played at Mandopa ground, Navelim, on Friday.
The teams were tied 0-0 at the end of the final whistle. In the tie-breaker, Betalbatim SC netted through Zebon Dias, Ashley Fernandes, Travis Barretto, Sydney Sequeira and Malcom Fernandes while for Cuncolim Union Frazer Fernandes, Edney Fernandes, Bharat Gaonkar and Ervin De Souza converted.
Betalbatim SC will meet the winners of Sarzora SC and Tilamol United in the quarter-final on December 15.
