MARGAO: The Water Resources Department (WRD) will carry out an inspection to review the work that was given to a contractor for improving and strengthening a bundh in Carmona village.
The said work was allotted to the contractor after his quote of Rs 1,27,43,221.60 had been accepted by the State government. The quote incidentally was Rs 23.30% below the estimated cost of the work.
