MAPUSA: Xetrapal SC got the better of Milagres SC by a 6-2 margin via the tie-breaker in the Xetrapal Soccer Cup played at Xetrapal ground here on Saturday.
Xetrapal broke the deadlock in the 20th minute of play when Vaibhav Mayekar sent a cross towards Sherwin who scored through a powerful header.
Couple of minutes into the match Milagres managed to level terms through Shailesh Miskin.
Changing over Bradley Lobo put Xetrapal once again into the lead when he nodded in Manthan Jivaji’s cross.
Six minutes later Milagres restored parity through Sapnesh Gaonkar2-2.
With the match ending in a draw Sherwin, Bradley, Vipul and Vinay scored for Xetrapal while no one managed to score for Milagres.
