CANACONA: A 41-year-old man from Sristhal was killed after he came under the wheels of a truck going in the same direction on Saturday evening.
Police identified the deceased as Anceto Advin Jose Cardozo, a resident of Zamblimoll in Sristhal of Canacona taluka.
Sources said that he was overtaking a truck when he reached Khalwadem; he fell off his Enfield bullet as he hit an oncoming two-wheeler eventually coming under the wheels of the truck.
Sources said that after doing panchanama of the accident site, the body of Cardozo was sent to Hospicio hospital for post mortem.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and are investigating.
