PANJIM: The State government will hold one-day drive on Sunday to register construction workers to facilitate better living conditions of the labour class.
Minister for Labour and Employment Jennifer Monserrate said the workers are asked to register them under the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, so that they can take the benefits of various schemes offered by the Goa Labour Welfare Board.
She said any construction worker between the age group of 18-60 years can register and avail the schemes offered.
