MAPUSA: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday laid the foundation stone for extension of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Candolim. The works is estimated to cost Rs 20 crore.
Speaking at the function, the Chief Minister said, “The health facilities in Goa are not available in any other State. Best health facilities are being provided to all. Government is spending lot of money on the health sector and providing primary facilities to tourists and labourers. Since 2012, the State is trying to provide best infrastructure in all constituencies with proper facilities and medicines.”
Ministers Vishwajit Rane and Michael Lobo were present.
