PERNEM: Kiranpani Aronda border between Goa and Maharashtra is opened from Tuesday. People who have taken both the vaccine doses were allowed to cross the State borders after producing the vaccination certificate. It was remained one-sided as people from Kiranpani and surrounding areas were denied entry to Maharashtra though entry to Goa was smooth sail.
When Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte inquired with the Maharashtra government officials deployed at the Aronda border, he was told that their guidelines strictly restrict entry into Maharashtra without doing COVID test.
