PANJIM: After a nail-biting round in Bengaluru, the TSD rally action now shifts to Goa. The MRF Rally de Goa, the sixth round of the 2015 FMSCI Indian National TSD Rally championship will be held on November 7 and 8. 
The event is being conducted by FB Motorsports and sponsored by tyre manufacturer MRF. Around 35 entries are expected in all and out of that 20 have entered for the National championship class. Entries have been received from all across India, including Bangalore, Erode, Kolkata, Mumbai, Coimbatore, apart from the entries from Goa.
From this round, team Tata Motors is making a re-entry in the championship with two cars for this event. The competitors will battle it out in the Pro Expert and Pro Stock categories in the National championship class.
Further, to encourage the budding motorsport enthusiasts from Goa, the organizers are also running a local TSD event, open only to residents of Goa simultaneously with the National event and they hope to garner a lot of participation for the same. 
The local TSD event will have three classes mainly open, couples and ladies. In the Pro Expert category, the Kolkata-Erode combine of SK Ajgar Ali and Mohammad Musthafa MK lead the standings with 101 points.
Second in the standings is the pair of Subir Roy and Nirav Mehta, two points behind. Sandip Mukherjee and Suvrajit Dutta are third with 61 points. In the Pro Stock class, Kolkata’s Saurav Chatterjee (navigator Ashoke Kumar Basu) and Coimbatore’s Sekar V (Natarajan G) are level on 94 points. Next is the duo of Amarnath GJ and Mokthiyar Ahmed MK, 12 points adrift of the leaders.
