CURCHOREM: The mining transportation at Dharbandora will start from 9.30 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5.30 pm, from April 1 to 10 to facilitate the SSC students to reach on time to their respective examination centres at Usgao and Curchorem.
This was decided during the meeting held on Friday convened by Dharbandora Deputy Collector Agnelo Fernandes which was attended by all the heads of institutions from the area and the representatives from the mining companies.
“Mining companies also volunteered to provide necessary transport for to and fro and agreed to keep off the loaded as well as empty trucks upto 9.30 am and from 12 noon to 2 pm for the benefit of the students who will be answering the SSC examination so that they can reach on time to their examination centre as well as their homes after answering the exams,” Fernandes said.
