Student hangs to death at Bicholim

BICHOLIM, JULY 22
An 18-year-old student from Bicholim committed suicide by hanging himself to the roof of his house late Tuesday evening.
According to Bicholim Police, Baburao Babi Warak, a student of a college in Mapusa, was alone in the house after he came home from the college, as his family members had gone out for some work. Warak committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope.
Police informed that the deceased has left a suicide note in English in which he has asked all his family members to live happily and peacefully. The body was handed over to his relatives after post mortem.
The State has seen a spate of suicide cases involving students in the recent past, even as parents expressed serious concern over such incidents.
