PANJIM: The second all-India Hindu convention of Hindu organisations, leaders, religious heads, thinkers, lawyers, and editors would be held in Goa from June 6 to 10.
The five-day convention would lay emphasis on formation of an organization at international level that will work towards solving the economic, social and religious problem faced by Hindu community staying overseas.
Addressing a press conference, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) national observer Ramesh Shinde said that the convention will focus on two major issues, which include strengthening the base for establishing a Hindu nation and will work towards resolving many problems faced by Bharat and the Hindu community overseas.
“Apart from this, the convention will also focus on establishing an organization at national level for the protection of cows and development of cow-lineage,” he said.
The convention will be held at Ramnathi temple. Around 250 delegates from 22 states in the country are slated to attend the convention along with delegates from Nepal, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.
