MAYEM: Aam Adami Party (AAP) opened its office in Bicholim on Monday evening.
In his speech, the Goa state convenor of AAP Rajendra Kakodkar said AAP do not believe in giving importance to a particular person, but believes in changing the system throughout the nation which has been heading towards destructive path.
“AAP won’t give false assurances to people, but will concentrate on knowing real problems of the people to have a grass-root level development,” added Kakodkar.
He said AAP has set a target of enrolling about 10,000 members in Bicholim taluka itself. He also questioned Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for supporting casinos after coming to rule which is totally against his statements when he was in the opposition.
Dr Surendra Pokle said AAP will function to bring Swarajya in Goa. “AAP will work for the people and any decision to be taken by elected MLA will be taken only after discussing the matter with the voters.
“Supporting the legal things will be our real motto,” he said and accused Parrikar of not fulfilling his assurance of zero tolerance to corruption, for not appointing a Lokayukta till date and for not fulfilling many assurances.
He also called upon people to support the membership drive of the party and AAP office will remain open from 9 am to 8 pm every day.
