MARGAO: South Goa Member of Parliament Francisco Sardinha has offered funds from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development scheme to the South Goa Collector to help fight the Coronavirus in the district and has also offered funds to the Goa Medical College to purchase equipments required to deal with the disease like ventilators, etc.
“I did not wish to restrict the district administration by telling what amount I would be giving them but I have asked them to prepare their plan and take whatever funds they require after showing me their plan,” he said.
Besides, Sardinha has also offered funds to the GMC to procure material they may require to deal with people infected with the virus.
