PANJIM: With the objective of re-starting its not-so-popular ‘Mobile Fish Stall’ initiative, Fisheries Department has invited applications from registered societies, associations, self help groups etc to operate mobile fish stalls to provide fresh fish to the people at reasonable rates. The last date for receiving the applications is Oct 23, the department stated.
The mobile fish stall initiative was launched in 2015 by Fisheries Ddepartment by procuring five especially-equipped mobile fish vans.
But the initiative had received a lukewarm response from those in fishing business as well the public.
