Vasco: Heavy traffic jam was witnessed at Cortalim for over two hours yet again on Sunday, leaving commuters for face severe hardship.
This time the traffic along the Margao-Panjim route and other connected routes was blocked after a crane engaged in the construction work of new Zuari Bridge and parallel road towards Cortalim overturned on its side on Sunday morning, resulting in long queues. Vehicles as a result were diverted via other internal village routes in Cortalim and Sancoale. This is the second severe traffic jam reported within 24 hours at Cortalim.
