MARGAO: The road digging work at Fatorda has irked commuters as several internal routes have been blocked without any prior warning.
The work has left hardly any space as at several times, vehicles travelling along these roads are stuck.

Local residents said the authorities should install signboards at strategic locations to inform commuters about the work so that motorists can avoid travelling on these roads.
In many cases, commuters have been forced to either take a U-turn or go off the road and find another alternate route.
This occurs during peak hours, when parents drop their children to schools or office-goers head for work.
These roads are frequented by non-residents too as one side leads to the Nuvem-Arlem bypass while the other to the Fatorda stadium.
