Discomfort in shuttle service

The shuttle bus (GA 03 X-0084) left from Margao at around 8:30am on June 27, 2014. Shockingly it was leaking continuously from the luggage loft, on the driver’s side, affecting passengers by the window seats.

Fortunately it was dry day and not raining at all, otherwise the ordeal of the passengers could have been worse. After having to stand in the Q for half an hour, it was disgusting that some senior commuters had to stand, wear a cap and lady passenger spread sheet of plastic over her lap to avoid the irritation of dripping water. One humorously commented whether the roof tiles were damaged. The nuisance continued till the destination. One expects that the vehicle is certified for use and one wonders where the water was collected in such quantities. Is anyone concerned and sensitive to the basic comfort of passengers who pay a stiff fare for the journey?
