CANACONA (HC): A 63-year-old pedestrian was seriously hurt in a road mishap along the highway near Cine Anandi Theatre at Nagorcem-Canacona on Saturday evening.
Sources informed Herald that Gokuldas Gaonkar first got his head hit on a rickshaw (GA-02-T-2373) windscreen, before being thrown into the roadside gutter. In the process, he also his head hit to a stone suffering serious head injuries. He was rushed to Canacona Community Health Centre, from where he was moved to the Hospicio at Margao.
