PANJIM: The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is maintaining full transparency vis-a-vis new recruitment in various government departments, said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday.

He asked those alleging scams in government jobs to prove their allegations with concrete proofs and evidences. He claimed that the government is strictly following the laid down recruitment process such as written examinations followed by all departments.
Sawant warned that stern action will be taken against anybody found indulging in malpractices in government recruitment process.
Action started against Visionaries Cooperative Society: Sawant said that the government has already started the process to initiate action against those involved in fraud in the Visionaries Urban Co-operative Credit Society.
He said he has given instructions to the concerned authorities to initiate action against those involved in duping the depositors.
Some of the cabinet decisions: The cabinet approved a proposal to bring the Commissioner of NRI Affairs under the Home Department by amending the Business of the Government of Goa (allocation) (Amendment) Rules.
It gave ex-post facto approval for extension of AMC for extended Goa Broadband Network project and computer networking in govt departments, semi-govt corps and autonomies bodies.
It decided to acquire land for Archaeological dept at Chorao for the development under the policy on procurement of land under the Right To Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
It gave its ex-post facto approval for revised land allotment policy and land allotment rates for the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster at Tuem.
It gave ex-post facto approval for Rs 2.57 cr to purchase medical equipment related to COVID-19 incurred by the office of Resident Commissioner, Goa Sadan, New Delhi and another Rs 75,000 for purchase of medical equipment to COVID-19 in Goa, both on behalf of DHS.
The cabinet also approved a proposal to revive 34 posts and the total sanctioned strength of 373 posts in the Department of Transport.
