MARGAO: Margao RCC defeated Vasco RCC by seven runs in the exciting finals to emerge champs of U-13 inter-RCC cricket tournament organized by Sanquelim RCC at Municipal ground, Bicholim.

Batting first Margao RCC trained by Sandeep Naik scored 84/9 in the allotted 20 overs. Mohit Redkar top scored with 19 while Sheel Angle contributed 11 runs. For Vasco RCC Rutvik Naik took three wickets while Chetan Harmalkar and Ritesh Singh bagged two wickets each.

In reply, Vasco RCC trained by Ajay Chavan could manage just 77/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Daivik Rao and skipper Craig Dourado scored 15 runs each. Margao RCC skipper Digesh Raikar excelled with the ball and grabbed three wickets while Atharv Keny took one.
