Khandola Youth Sports win

Youth Sports Club of Khandola defeated Panvel Sports Club by 8 wickets in the finals of 1st All-Goa Seasonball Cricket tournament organised by Corlim Gymkhana at helipad ground Dhavji, Old Goa on Sunday.
The highlight of the match was a brilliant 80 studded with 8 boundaries and 4 sixes by Abhijit Bhandari of Khandola.
Winning the toss, Panvel elected to bat first. They scored 147 runs. Tejpal was the top-scoer with 33 runs, followed by Sujit Patil with 23.
Scoreboard: Panvel SC: 147 for 9 in 18 overs. Suresh Bhide 19, Sandesh Naik 18, Tejpal 33, Sujit Patil 23, Lawrence 15. Hemant Khot 4-25, Tushar Narvekar 2-22, Naresh Parsekar 1-24.
YSC Khandola: 150 for 2 in 16.4 overs. Abhijit Bhandari 80 (8 fours, 4 sixes), Pramod Naik 27 (5 fours), Tushar Narvekar 10 runs. Vidhur Phadte 1-35.
Vishal Valvaikar panch of Old Goa was the chief guest and gave away prizes in the presence of deputy sarpanch Prakash Amonkar.
