MARGAO: The Margao police has registered an offense against a lab assistant of a city-based school for allegedly outraging the modesty of girl students.
Margao Sub-divisional Police Officer, DySP Mohan Naik informed that the police has registered the case against the lab Assistant based on a complaint received from the headmistress of the school.
Replying to a question, DySP Mohan said that the incident was brought to the notice of the school headmistress by the government appointed school counsellor during the interaction with the students. The police said that the counsellor came across a number of girl students who are learnt to have pointed accusing fingers at the lab assistant for allegedly outraging their modesty.
