Quepem advocates boycott court

The advocates from Quepem on Thursday evening boycotted the Quepem Court in protest against suspension of Additional District and Sessions Judge Desmond D’Costa by the High Court.
The advocates fraternity from Quepem claimed that D’Costa’s suspension is arbitrary and unjust and demanded immediate reappointment of Judge D’Costa.
In the absence of advocates, matters in Quepem Court did not proceed and the clients had to take dates.
