PONDA: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, in his address, assured the provision of four hours of water supply. However, residents in certain areas of Usgão reported receiving water irregularly for only one hour, and at a very low pressure. Some individuals noted that their supply arrived late at night, after 11 PM, resulting in sleepless nights. The inadequate pressure prevents water from reaching the storage tanks located atop their homes, compelling residents to use various containers for collection. Additionally, some locals expressed concern about receiving untreated water from bore wells in Palwada, Dhavo Guno, Pali, Sidhanath Nagar, and Sai Nagar, describing it as muddy and requiring a full day for sedimentation. Each ward has one bore well that supplies this untreated water, prompting residents to request treated water from OPA.

Residents of Pali Usgão have reported that while some individuals have access to water, it is not of adequate quality, as they are receiving borewell water. This water remains muddy and contaminated, leaving them with no alternative but to use it for drinking and other purposes. For many years, they have been urging the authorities to provide treated water from the OPA treatment plant, a promise that has yet to be realized.
Ramnath Dangui, the Sarpanch of Usgão-Ganjem, emphasized that addressing the concerns of the local population is his top priority upon receiving complaints. He indicated his intention to collaborate with relevant authorities to devise a solution and encouraged those facing water-related issues to reach out to him. He expressed optimism that the water crisis in the Usgão area could be resolved within a year, noting that the construction of a 25 MLD water treatment plant in Usgão is underway and is expected to take approximately one year to complete.
