A property dispute turned violent in Navelim after a man alleged that his son and daughter-in-law trespassed into his home, shifted household items, and assaulted him and his elder son. The incident occurred on 13 September near the Shani Temple in Moddi. The complainant, Devendra Kumar Prasad, told Margao police that his son Sunil Prasad and wife Vinata Prasad entered his residence without consent. When confronted, they allegedly attacked him and his elder son Sachin Kumar Prasad. Police have registered an offence under Sections 115(2), 333 and 352 read with Section 3(5) of the BNS Act, 2023.
