Calangute police arrested a 29-year-old man from Manipur on October 2 for possession of 1.4 kg of ganja. During the raid, authorities seized 1,403.3 grams of the narcotic, valued at around 1.4 lakh.
The accused, identified as Khuraijam Sanayaima, was found with greenish leafy, flowery tops emitting a strong odour suspected to be ganja. The seizure was carried out under a formal search and seizure panchanama.
