Three Arrested in Vagator Assault Case; All Worked at Anjuna Restaurant, One Accused Still Absconding

The Anjuna Police have arrested three men in connection with the Vagator assault case, which recently sparked outrage in the coastal belt.

Those arrested have been identified as S. Mousheel, a native of Bengaluru; Saurav Karoga from Uttarakhand; and Dharam Upreti from Maharashtra. According to police sources, all three were employed at a local restaurant in Anjuna.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the trio were allegedly involved in the assault incident that took place in Vagator, though the exact motive behind the attack is still being probed.

Police further confirmed that one more accused remains absconding, and a manhunt is underway to trace and apprehend the individual.

The Anjuna Police are continuing their investigation, with statements from witnesses and CCTV footage being closely examined to establish the sequence of events.
