The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday issued an advisory to all private satellite television channels, cautioning them against broadcasting sensitive content related to recent incidents involving the alleged Red Fort blast accused.
According to the ministry, certain channels had aired material that could indirectly justify violence or reveal methods of creating explosive devices—content that officials warned could trigger public unrest and pose serious national security risks.

In its directive, the ministry urged broadcasters to exercise restraint and ensure strict compliance with the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995. Channels have been reminded to refrain from telecasting content that is inflammatory, defamatory, anti-national, or capable of encouraging unlawful activities.
Authorities emphasised that responsible coverage is essential to maintaining public order and preventing the dissemination of material that could be misused or misinterpreted.
