A fatal road accident was reported in Mormugao on Sunday evening after a car crashed into a scooter, leaving the rider critically injured. The victim, identified as Mallinath Goudar, 55, a resident of Sada, sustained severe injuries in the collision and tragically succumbed to them while being rushed to SGH Chicalim.
Police have registered a case against the car driver, 20-year-old Srikrushn Bandekar, under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Further investigations are underway.
