Despite attempts to seek clarity, there has been no official response from the franchise regarding his absence.
Dayal’s last competitive appearance dates back to June 2025, when he featured in the IPL final against the Punjab Kings. Since then, he has not played any domestic cricket, with reports suggesting he was not considered by Uttar Pradesh due to an ongoing legal matter. Officials also revealed difficulties in contacting the player over the past year.
