A civil supplies team conducted a raid in Porvorim, seizing two domestic LPG cylinders allegedly being misused. Officials from the Bardez division acted on specific inputs and inspected the premises, where the cylinders were found in violation of regulations. Authorities reiterated that subsidised LPG cylinders are strictly meant for household use and cannot be diverted for commercial purposes. They also warned that strict action, including penalties and further legal steps, will be taken against those found flouting the rules, as part of ongoing enforcement drives across the region.
