RPF Seizes 7.4 Kg Ganja at Madgaon Railway Station; Two Accused Handed Over to NCB

The Railway Protection Force (RPF), under its ongoing Operation Satark, intercepted two suspicious individuals at Platform 3 of Madgaon Railway Station and seized 7.4 kilograms of cannabis (ganja).

The operation was carried out when the suspects were identified while travelling on Train No. 12618. Upon inspection, RPF personnel recovered the contraband from their possession.

The accused were subsequently handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Goa unit, which has registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Further investigation is underway to determine the source and intended distribution of the seized drugs.
